After 5 minutes the marshmallows still melted some, but they were a big hit with all 7 of my kids! I will definitely make this again.

this was a great recipe for me to do with my daughters..it was messy enough for them and healthy enough for me. I added 1/2 a cup of raisins and let the kids decorate the puffs with them...gives it a little more sweetness and an added healthiness kids wont even realize!

We didn't care for these. They were much too sweet. I think I was expecting less of a mashed potato consistency and more of a crispy outside...? I didn't see where the "Puff" part of this was. The flavor wasn't bad though--much like a sweet potato casserole.

They were VERY messy to roll. I thought they were going to be a bit more firm. Maybe didn't bake long enough. They still got rave reviews at the dinner I took them too.

I have made this recipe many times. My husband and daughter LOVE these. I do need closely watch the time so they do not explode. I have also added a bit of nutmeg to give it some more flavor.

They didn't get hard or "crusty" for me they were kindof like soggy sweet potato rolled in sweet breading. My husband said he liked them but I don't really believe him. Will not make again!

These were fun to make for a special occasion. I added one egg and a 1/2 cup of the graham cracker crumbs to the sweet potatoes. I baked these on 450 for 5 minutes. The bottoms were a little browner, but they were abit firmer.

Not impressed. I was eager for these to taste good and I even tried three different types of crumbs: graham cracker, cinnamon graham, and gingersnap. Other reviewers said the balls cracked open and the marshmallow oozed out. I put a thick coating of potato over the marshmallow to combat this, but it didn't work. They cracked open a little while cooking and when I transfered them from the cookie sheet they almost fell apart. I ate them anyway and they were just ok, nothing special. The coating started getting soggy during the meal and they could have used some butter for more flavor in the mixture, but it's not worth the hassle. For those of you that may like them, try the gingersnap crumbs. Better flavor than the grahams.

These were a fun new thing at Thanksgiving. I used crushed cinnamon cookies that have a little more flavor than graham crackers. Also, although I was careful to take them out of the oven at 5 minutes, when I popped one in the toaster oven to reheat it tonight, the marshmallow did melt...but no big deal; it was yummy anyway. I still prefer a sweet potato casserole, though.

I upped the recipe to 3 servings. These were pretty messy to make but then again, I expected that from the recipe instructions. I know I wouldn't want to make them for a crowd though. ;o) I baked for exactly 6 minutes & they weren't oozing when I took them out but the hot pan continued to cook them & they did. So next time I will bake for only 5 minutes. I thought they were going to be a little messy to eat w/ our fingers (I had wipes ready, just in case) but they weren't really. Will make again...thanks Bernice Morris!
