I made this for Christmas and it was just wonderful, the pies had a beautiful color to them, the recipe makes the pies just right, not too sweet and not to bland. Thanks!!!

I've always made sweet potato pie without measuring and received great reviews but this pie didn't last in my home past the Thanksgiving weekend. This Sweet Potato Pie is my new favorite.

My first pie ever. It was awesome. I was so nervous because my dinner guests were all sweet potato pie freaks and I knew they would be very vocal if it were not good! Well, it was great. I used condensed mild instead of regular milk and 1/2 brown + 1/2 white sugar and added in another 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg. Next time I will add in cloves and some vanilla for depth of flavor! I also used canned sweet potatoes and it was pure unadulterated heaven in a pie! Thanks so much for this recipe. Its a keeper!

Hands down the best sweet potato concoction I've ever had. Not too sweet, and it is so incredibly light in the mouth. Rave reviews from the whole family.

This was VERY good! REminded my of my fathers SPP (Yes, my father was the chef of our family :-0)Only thing was I made a BIG mistake out of laziness and used canned Yams. It wasn't bad but I think the pie lost some of it's "true" taste because of that. I have printed this recipe and put it in a safe place! I will be making this again for New Years Dinner!!!...the right way with real Sweet Potatoes!!!!

This pie was OK, but lacked the luster and flavor of a great Sweet Potato Pie. I made it again, only this time I used the sweet potatoes that I baked in the oven - like a baked potato. The flavor difference was huge. So good!

This really is a very good sweet potatoe pie recipe. I bake my sweet potatoes for that extra flavor and use a 1/2 cup of white sugar and 1/2 of brown sugar it comes out perfect every time. We practially fight over the last piece. :)

This recipe is very similar to the one I use, give or take a few minor things. One thing I don't like is stringy sweet potato pie. My mom taught me to beat the potatoes and then take the beaters and shake off the excess strings into the trash. Trust me, you will see them. Also, since you're losing some of the potato, it might be a good idea to just cook an extra one to make up for it. Hope this helps someone.

Very yummy and great holiday recipe. I used three medium sweet potatos becuase I didn't think one would be enough. Also, the batter is somewhat watery and I thought that I might have done something wrong but that is the way it is supposed to go. It was a great hit at Thanksgiving!!!
