This is my favorite sweet potato casserole recipe! My husband and I forgot we had put it in our recipe box here and freaked out at the prospect of not being able to find it again!!! Making this again this Thanksgiving!

I like to add a new recipe every year. Last year I added this and the slow cooker mashed potatoes it was convienent not being locked in the kitchen all day. The family loved both dishes we will be repeating these for years to come.

An excellent classic recipe. The cinammon really adds something special to this recipe. I cooked the day before, placed the marshmallows on top, but didn't brown the marshmallows until 30min prior to dinner. That created a gooey mess on top, but I just added more marshmallows on top of the goo and it turned out great getting many comments.

I made this last night (for a whole bunch of my friends (In college!)) and everybody loved it!! I needed to find a recipe for thanksgiving and I believe I have found the perfect one! I used 1 40oz can of Yams instead of the sweet potatoes. I just heated them up, then drained them of the syrup. Added the rest the ingredients but I added milk in place of the orange juice based off of other reviews. I cooked it in a 9X9 pan for about 20 minutes! Wonderful!

I am giving this just two stars b/c I altered it and the fam liked it my way. I omitted almost half the sugar and a bit of the marshmallows, too. I also added nutmeg and ginger. Original recipe would have been waaay too sweet. I have two children and it went over very well at the dinner table.

This was so good. I didn't have regular marshmallows, but Halloween ghost ones. My kids(4&6)loved it they only tried it because they thought the ghosts were so cool!

Used this recipe for Christmas and it was a big hit - I received may compliments and was asked for the recipe. Very easy to make and the marshmallows were a nice addition. I did not use the whole bag of marshmallows, though!

My mother was coming over to spend a pre-Christmas lunch and I needed a quick, simple sweet potato casserole for my last minute procrastinations. This recipe saved me and was so simple to make. Also, it was really yummy. The pinch of cinnamon is a wonderful touch. Thanks. Definitely gonna make this again!
