this is the one! pecans add a more sophisticated touch than marshmallows and cut the sweetness and boy, is it sweet. Don't use the canned yams. Instead use 3 cups (approx. 3 potatoes) of real mashed sweet potatoes. Sooo much better. And you can get away with decreasing sugar.

delicious recipe! even the skeptics loved it. The only things I did differently were to use fresh, roasted sweet potatoes and back off on the sugar

This recipe is perfect! I added a few more nuts on top and used a sugar substitute instead of real sugar. The measurements and cooking time were right on and everybody loved it!!

These are the best sweet potatoes ever! We have made this since last Thanksgiving after trying several other recipes. It has become a holiday tradition. Even my husband who doesn't like sweet potatoes enjoys this recipe. Thank you for sharing it.

This is definitely the most requested dish for our holiday dinners - one change I highly suggest is to add the melted butter gradually so that you end up with a streusel like topping rather than a gooey one.

This is a pretty good dish if your in a real hurry and don't have time to bake your sweet potato's. it wasn't as sweet but like I said we still enjoyed it.

Perfection in a pan. Just a little too soggy. Next time I will use UNDRAINED potatoes. Even soggy they were the best sweet potatoes I've made!
