Sooooooo yummy! I have made this several times and it is always a hit. This last time I was a bit leary cause I used white onions. But the flavor was just as good as w/ yellow, no difference.

I actually found this recipe in a magazine and here. Made this as a side for roasted goose it was so good. Froze the leftovers as it's just two of us. Thawed the leftovers in the fridge, topped with about 1/2 cup cheese and baked at 350 for about 15 minutes and I thought it was even better. The hubby said I NEED to make this one again and I surely will!

This was a hit. I don't do dill so I didn't put it in and personally I think it would ruin it. That was my only change, and again, it was delicious. I listened to one reader about it being gooey...well it is suppose to be...don't over cook...like I did (even though the family said they liked the crusty part...ha,ha. Thanks again for the recipe!

We loved the cornbread layer but the onion/sour cream topping was gooey and unpleasant. I would make this again but just top the cornbread with the cheese. Thanks anyway.

This recipe is a jazzed up cornbread casserole with far superior taste. Easy to make and doesn't lose flavor with low-fat ingredients. Added to my recipe rotation with many thanks!

I made this for a family gathering today and everyone wants the recipe. The only thing I did different, and it was because I wasn't paying attention,is that I put a cup of cheese in the cornbread mix instead of on top on the casserole. It was a mistake but it came out great!! It kept the cornbread moist!! I still sprinkled some cheese on top though. AWESOME!!

Excellent cassarole. Was even better the next day, after the flavors mellowed and blended.

This is a heavenly casserole. I have made it several times over the years and it was a hit each and every time! Many have asked for the recipe. I am making it today for a block party and I'm sure I'll be bring back an empty pan!

I was so surprized when I came back to make another copy of this recipe for a friend and saw no reviews. I made it some time ago and wrote "very good" on it. Great side dish to accompany any entree.
