My family loved this. They must have thanked me for dinner at least a half a dozen times! The only change I made was instead of adding oranges, I added a splash of orange juice to the sauce and a splash to the water for the rice. The molasses scared me a little so I probably used a little less than a teaspoon. It was delicious and will be tempted to make it several times each week...

I spent an entire morning reading here the other day and this recipe and reviews was such a temptation. I'm so glad I tried it! Definite keeper in our house. Will try with chicken also.

Just finished eating this with my family, and there are a few things I would tweak. First I used boneless pork chops, and I think in the future I would actually chop up the pork into smaller pieces and proceed from there. Secondly everyone agreed that they were expecting the sweetness of pineapple and next time I should add some in, it seemed a little too bitter for a sweet n' sour recipe. The sauce thickened perfect, and seems like after the tweaking it would be great for chicken too. Not a recipe to toss away, but no one is in a rush for me to make it again real soon.

This was an ok recipe. It could be tweaked a little to taste better. I didn't care for the molasses taste and I could taste the bitterness of the orange peel. However I did like the idea of the recipe and we used "little oranges" and they tasted great with the chops. Overall...too much bitterness.

This was really great. I prepared exactly as written with the exception of I added salt and pepper to the chops before I put them in the pan and I didn't need the cornstarch. The flavor was different but very good. My husband said he would give it only 4 stars but provided no reasons why so a 5 star recipe it is:)
