Excellent!! We used lean turkey in place of beef, and water in place of an egg (for food allergies and preferences). We also used 1/3 cup sugar instead of the full 1/2 cup- the pineapple added plenty of sweetness. We served it over brown rice, and couldn't wait to eat the leftovers the next day!

My husband and I really enjoyed this meal. I only had one green pepper but I added some cooked carrots to the sauce to round out the meal. Also, I doubled up the amount of sauce but I only used 1 tbsp of oil instead of 2 and 4 tbsp of cornstarch instead of 6. Delicious! I will make this again.

My husband absolutly loves these meatballs and I like them pretty well myself. I do add bread crumbs because I feel like that's what makes a meatballs. Also, this might not be for everyone but I prefer to put the pineapple and pepper into the blender before adding to the sauce. I really like the way the sauce turns out like that.

With a tsp of ground ginger, and 1/2 tsp garlic powder, this was great! Would make again for sure. I did also only add 2 Tbl of cornstarch for the consistency that I prefer.

I buy frozen meatballs and put them in the sauce recipe. They are always a big hit when we have company.

I am basing my review on the sauce alone since I used ground turkey for the meatballs. (I would not recommend doing that because the meatballs were too sticky to form together. I had to add a bunch of extra bread crumbs.) The sauce was just okay. It was thicker than I would have liked and it didn't make enough to cover the meatballs.

Great Recipe!! I did not have any green peppers or cornstarch. For the cornstarch, I substituted and used flour instead. It worked out and still tasted great. Will make this again!!
