Until now, cornbread was my cooking nemesis. I have tried numerous recipes and never been satisfied. This recipe is a game changer, finally a cornbread that is moist, has great flavor, and not full of lard an butter. Thanks for ending my cornbread search!

My grand child is just learning to bake and this recipe is one of her favorites from the time we mixed all the ingredients in a bowl up to the time it was placed in the oven she licked all the remaining barter

Absolutely awesome. We also substitute Greek Yogurt (honey) for the Sour Cream for a sweeter flavor...

Best ever! Mt husband is a huge cornbread snob and he loves this stuff. It's firm without being dry and crumbly. Its slightly, but not too sweet. I love it with butter and honey the morning after I served it at dinner with fried chicken.

This is the 2nd time I made this & it turned out beautifully. I used whole wheat pastry flour instead of white & added a small can of diced green chilies & a cup of grated cheddar. This is the way cornbread should taste! Buttery interior & a crispy top.
