I doubled the recipe and left out the raisins due to personal taste. The photo looks like there's not much coating on the stuff, but it really has enough. I will try it without doubling and see if I get more of a white coated look. My mother-in-law gets this from a friend each Christmas and she was surprised to learn no powdered sugar was used. I recently had this at a friends house. She made a gigantic bowl of it and it was gone it no time. She called it "White Trash". Very yummy! I am going to make it tomorrow for a family gathering!

This is a great kid-friendly recipe. We've made several batches of this, and my kids love to scoop, measure and mix! We even packaged this up in Christmas-y 'Chinese takeout boxes' and delivered them to our neighbors' mailboxes in December! Great combination of flavors.
