Found it dry & rather bland. My husband, who would eat fruit crumble for breakfast, lunch & dinner, wouldn't eat a 2nd bowl of this. Definitely won't be making this one again.

This is a good recipe if you are looking for something different. The chocolate and peanut butter dominate the taste. I didn't particularly think these flavors complimented the apples. Of course, this is based on my taste buds.

I doubled the recipe and baked in individual ramekins, like another user. The flavors turned out excellent, and we will definitely be making this again. My only complaint is the texture of the crumble when it comes out of the oven - it looks like baked cardboard and does not look remotely appetizing. I think I will try brushing either an egg wash or a honey glaze on top next time, to give its appearance a little more "pop." I also think I will add some frozen cherries in with the chopped apples.

I thought this recipe was great! I didn't add the chocolate chips simply because I didn't have any on hand and I increased the amount of butter just a tad. I doubled the recipe and baked them in individual baking dishes and it turned out absolutely delicious!

For a healthy dessert, this deserves 5 stars. The apples and cinnamon and chocolate are a great combination.

i was not impressed, even after "dressing" it up & changing it some, the topping was like sand, i guess i was looking for a moister crumble.

Easy to make, sweet and tasty. I used all Asda store brand ingredients - I think if I made it again I'd use a nicer chocolate because it was by far the dominant flavour. I'm just not sure about the oats... maybe there is too much going on with this recipe or maybe I don't love oats? But on the whole, a great apple crumble for chocolate lovers!
