This sweet, cardamom flavored braid is sprinkled with pearl sugar just before baking. My family is Swedish, and ever year we make this recipe just in time for Christmas. We always enjoy it especially on Christmas morning.

Limpa Bread

This is a traditional Swedish rye bread. Be sure that the seeds you use for this bread are fresh. You may substitute rye flour for the whole wheat flour, however, it will affect the taste. I prefer whole wheat. Also, gluten, a very important ingredient in this recipe, may be found in most gourmet food stores or health food stores. Barley malt can be substituted for molasses. Enjoy! 

Peanut Butter Bread I

This is a great snack bread made in the bread machine. Spread with jam or honey and serve as an after school treat. You can use your favorite style of peanut butter with this one. My favorite is extra crunchy.
