These are so good -- they are similar to Cheesecake Factory's mashed potatoes -- and they're so easy to make. I scale the recipe down to 2 and make it as a quick side dish all the time. Due to the size variations of potatoes, I have to adjust the amount of milk, so I just add a little at a time until I get the right consistency.

A very good recipe for smashed red potatoes! At the last minute I found to be out of sour cream so I substituted cream cheese. I added a dash of garlic powder and onion powder. Delish!

I have a husband who loves mashed potatoes but if you're like me, you get sick of all that peeling! So this recicpe is a godscend. Incredibly creamy & delicious. To lighten it up I used light butter, light sour cream & skim milk. Next time I think I'll cut the butter amount by a tbsp or two just for health's sake. Tasted so wonderful & they were so easy & done in minutes. Thanks so very much!

Very creamy and delicious! Just the right amount of milk and sour cream! I used 1 percent milk and I had made some dip with ranch dressing and sour cream earlier in the day so I used that.

These had a good taste. I did warm the milk - but I added too much. I didn't quiet use 2 lbs of potatoes thus I didn't need as much milk. So my advice to myself and to you is to add the milk until you get the consistency you are seeking.

Absolutely the BEST mashed potatoes EVER :) Great texture, very creamy! The only thing I did differently was use SmartBalance Butter instead of regular butter but other than that, everything else was the same and turned out great! Thanks so much!
