Absolutely delicious mashed potatoes. I usually only make them this way now. Add a head of roasted garlic and this recipe goes over the top!

AB-FAB!!!!!!!! I had the butter at room temp, put that in the bowl of the kitchen aid mixer with the sour cream, dumped in some leftover cheddar cheese (about 1/2 cup), put the potatoes in and mashed, adding the milk to get the desired consistency. DELISH! Thanks!

Very good and creamy. I added chopped garlic and chicken bouillon to the boiling water. I also added garlic powder and garlic salt to the finished product.

I don't think I can ever eat regular mashed potatoes again. This is a keeper. Only thing I did different was add a bit of fresh parsley at the last few minutes of the potato boil, and a bit of garlic powder. So creamy, every body loved them!

My grandfather made the best mashed potatoes in the universe. I don't know what his secret was; I've never been able to replicate them, but these were VERY good. We all had seconds (and some of us had thirds.) Thanks!

This was a hit! We all enjoyed it very much. I don't think I'll make mashed potatoes with white potatoes again. I added minced garlic and garlic powder to it. Great receipe, you should try it!!
