These were the best! The cream of chicken soup gives them a perfect taste!

I made this last night and it is AMAZING. Some of the best scalloped potatoes I've ever eaten. I've tried other recipes like this, but with no luck. If you follow this recipe, you can't go wrong! I can't wait to make them again. The only thing I did was saute the onion in some butter until translucent, then mixed them in with the rest of the ingredients. I also sliced the potatoes really thin, then boiled them, then mixed them with all the ingredients and poured into a casserole dish

Made this for Easter and it was a huge hit! I made a few differences (that resulted in a more liquid-y dish than it probably would have if I'd followed it to the letter) because I was making more than the recipe called for. I also left out the onion, added some salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder and topped it with shredded cheese and crunchy onions. Will absolutely make this again, everyone loved it!

I added 8 slices of center cut bacon and a little red pepper. I also used 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1/4 cup milk to make it a little richer.

I like to cook a big meal on Sundays and this is a winning side dish. I did boil my potatoes ahead, and the only advise I can give is, do not over cook or they are hard to slice, and do not under cook or they will be crunchy. Other than that they are great!

I LOVE LOVE this recipe. I slice (instead of shred) the potatoes and them boil them until tender; the rest of the recipe is unchanged. Best I've had since my grandma made them.
