This was really good. I did double the milk and flour, but it needed more seasoning bc it was a little bland. I think if I would have followed exactly the taste would have been great but it would have been to chunky for me. I just added some extra garlic and onion powder while cooking and then more salt and pepper on the plate. My kids (6 and 1) went CRAZY for this.

So good. Biscuits and gravy are one of my favorites. I doubled the milk and flour as suggested to make it go further and it was very yummy!

Great recipe! Next time I'm going to use more milk and flour as this was pretty meaty but the flavor is great. I added some pepper and herbs but otherwise kept to the recipe. Loved it!

Loved this gravy, although I found out at many other reviewers did that you can add more milk and flour and still have plenty of gravy. My husband liked it as it was- very meaty- but next time I'll probably add some more of the gravy to balance out the sausage. Quick and super tasty!

I'm not a biscuits and gravy eater so I'm reviewing this on behalf of my fiance who loved it. I used hot sausage because he likes everything spicy. I had to make it twice in one week he enjoyed it so much.

Easy, quick and good! As one who grew up in the South, I understand that a good sausage gravy is easy to make and the simpler the recipe the better! I didn't need to use the entire measure of flour ... had a bit more than a T left in the measuring cup.(Adding flour after adding the milk is not a good idea ... the flour tends to taste 'raw'. It's better to cook the flour with the sausage for a minute or two, and then add milk as needed to get the right consistancy -I stuck with the 2 cups and it was fine.) Using the full pound of meat makes a very 'meaty' gravy - fine for me, as I was making this as a stick-to-your-ribs breakfast for my kids before school. (Otherwise, I would use less meat or use the full measure of flour and use 3 cups of milk). Used BE sausage today, but I prefer using 'sage flavored' sausage.

This is the best sausage gravy recipe. It is very important to use Bob Evans sausage when you make it because your gravy is only as good as the sausage you use to make it. YUMMY!!!!

I made it using veggie crumbles. Made a hearty breakfast but the only problem was that I missed my veggies, even though I had added a bit of onion, garlic, celery and a red bell pepper. less of soy meat and more of carrot & peas would make it perfect.

Although I've never really cared for it my husband is a BIG biscuits and gravy fan. So, I attempted to make them one Sunday morning for him. The first time I made it we had the Sage sausage, he loved it however I did not. The next time we tried the maple sausage and I've got to say that I am hooked! The maple brings an amazing flavor to it! I did however find that there was too much sausage and not enough gravy (as few others have suggested), so I doubled up on the flour and milk. This will forever be a part of our Sundays morning!! Thank you!
