My husband adored this! Very simple and full of flavor. Well I just used a spicy sausage and the flavor spreads throughout the gravy.

Love this! I made this with a homemade biscuit recipe from this site and it was awesome! I did double the flour and milk that other reviews recommended. It turned out perfect!

I use half the sausage and 3 Tbsp flour paired up with J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits and everything comes out perfect

Sage sausage in this recipe = YUM. I had no idea sausage gravy was so easy...I'd been intimidated by it forever. I WILL be making this over and over again.

I tried this and it was great,also on toast,and english muffin.........then I changed it to bacon..... great dish also........keeping everything the same but, with bacon makes a real good change from creamed chip beef

This was pretty much the recipe I have been making for years - but it's nice to have exact measurements instead of eyeballing it like I usually do! I use hot sausage because we like it a little spicy and add some cracked black pepper. Depending on the sausage you use - you may need to add a pinch of salt. Great recipe!

I noticed the reviews that mentioned too much sausage so I changed the serving size to 6 but kept it at 1lb of sausage. Followed recipe exactly besides this one change. This was my first time making sausage gravy and it was DIVINE! So good, so easy, my favorite kind of recipe. Thank you for sharing!! I won't bother ever trying a different recipe.

Excellent!! I followed others advice and doubled the flour and milk. I also chopped up a small onion and saute'd that with the sausage. Delicious, will definitely make again!!

My husband is from Virginia and loves sausage gravy. I've never made it because I didn't feel confident to try it. I decided to give it a whirl with this one and he loves it! He went to work bragging to all his co-workers that I made him sausage gravy at 5AM before work. It was a huge hit and it's in my permanent recipe list now. Thanks!

Let me preface this by saying that I don't eat sausage gravy. But I've been trying to find a good recipe for my husband. While, according to DH, it was "okay" he agreed that there was entirely too much sausage. Better luck next time...
