This was the easiest gravy I have ever made! I used hot sausage instead of the original, just to give it a bit of a kick.

Yum! My dh would have adored this recipe as written, but he'll never know now. I, on the other hand, prefer sausage in my gravy and not the other way around so I also doubled the flour and milk. No salt, 1t. of pepper. We had it with Grands! and hashbrowns for a super-carbarific breakfast. I did brown the flour after I added it to the sausage, but you wouldn't want to if you like the "white" gravy.

This was great! The only issue I had was, as others, there was too much sausage. I WILL make this many more times, but I will use half the sausage.

I love this recipe - I've already used it 3-4 times. The 1st time I thought it was gonna be too runny so I added more flour - will not make that mistake again! It was way too thick. The recipe is perfect as is in my opinion. Will make again soon!

I tend not to cook, but when I got the craving for biscuits and gravy, I decided to make it myself. Found this to be pretty good - I used turkey sausage instead of pork sausage but still tasty. I wanted to toss in some pepper flakes but found I didn't have any. I made the entire recipe, even though it is just me, and found that yes, people are right - there is a lot of sausage vs. gravy. I figured there would be, but wanted to use all the sausage. I like this recipe - it is easy, tasty and I will be using it again!

This was very good but found it needed a little more gravy, less sausage. I added some additional milk and a touch of flour (just eyeballed it) to make it more fluid. Flavor was great and family enjoyed it.

I will never buy packet white gravy again! This recipe is great. The only thing I changed was used 1/2 lb sausage. I don't care for big chunks of sausage. Once it was browned, I drained the grease, put it on a cutting board and chopped it up very finely. Then I put it back in the pan and then made the gravy. Great texture and taste! Served with hashbrowns.

This was very good, and very simple to make! I used 1% milk and a reduced-fat sausage to help lighten it a bit. I did need to add a little cornstarch to help it thicken.
