this is good but just not for us. Wanted to try something new. It's very easy and make sure you have a good sausage for this - it makes all the difference.

This was quick and easy to make. We have dairy and soy allergies here, so I used oat milk and it tasted the same as "regular." I think next time I will increase the liquid and/or decrease the sausage; it didn't have the consistency of gravy (not runny enough) and was heavy on the sausage. Maybe I just cooked it too long!

Wow - I have never been happy with any sausage gravy I have attempted or that anyone has even made at home for that matter until now. This was easy and perfect. My husband loved it as well. I will be making this again and again.

Really good. My husband said he could eat it every week. I doubled the milk and flour as others had suggested and I used Jimmy Deans sausage. I couldn't remember which one to buy when I was at the store. It was very good. Kids loved it too.

This was really good! I drained most of the grease off the sausage out of habit because I didn't read the recipe right the first time. But it was still great with less grease and probably better for you too. :)

Heaven. I took the sausage out before I made the gravy. I don't really like the texture of sausage. I did use a little more milk and two more tlbs of flour to make it stretch. Very good. This will be my new gravy recipe!

Good recipe..recommend more milk (3 cups?) to balance out all the meat. It was good but too meaty and not enough gravy.

Awesome!!! I used half regular sausage and half hot sausage. Doubled the flour and milk like suggested by other users, and used some bacon greese to help blend the flour. I removed the sausage from the pan before adding the flour and milk, so that it would wisk together easier. Once the milk and flour were completely combined I added the sausage back and continued to cook! Will definatly make this again!!! =)

I had an ex-boyfriend who's mom tried over and over again to teach me how to make sausage gravy. My results were always unedible. This was my last attempt at making it, and the results were wonderful. So tasty and yummy! I didn't measure anything out, just did it by eye. I only used half a package of sausage, because I didn't want to waste any. I didn't have what I thought was enought grease, so I added butter as one review suggested. This is a great recipe. Will definitely make again and next time will use the whole package.

AWESOME. I was craving something warm and comforting since it started snowing this week and this was absolutely perfect. I added a large clove of garlic, 1/2 an onions and a sprinkling red pepper flakes to the sausage as I browned it. I pushed the sausage mix to the side and warmed and thickened the milk in the pan and just mixed the two together. I did however, need to add about a teaspoon and a half or so of bacon grease that I had on hand as the sausage didn't produce enough fat for the gravy. I sprinkled in a TON of pepper (I love pepper) and served over some quick mix, Biscuick biscuits. My daughter devoured them and my husband ate all the leftovers later that night before bed as a "snack." I will DEFINITELY be using this recipe time and time again.

Yummy I was really impressed with this! I used Jimmy Dean light sausage and wish I would have increased the flour/milk per other suggestions. This amount barely fed my hubby and 2 kids. Also a bit too much sausage but if you double the milk & flour I bet it would be perfect! I will definitely make again!

This was really good. I did double the milk and flour, but it needed more seasoning bc it was a little bland. I think if I would have followed exactly the taste would have been great but it would have been to chunky for me. I just added some extra garlic and onion powder while cooking and then more salt and pepper on the plate. My kids (6 and 1) went CRAZY for this.
