Good recipe, can't go wrong unless you cook it on too high of heat or don't cook it long enough. You shouldn't have to add extra flour, it will thicken if cooked properly. A couple of reviewers said there was too much sausage. Huh? Isn't that the point of sausage gravy is to have sausage in it? LOL. I use the Bob Evans hot sausage for extra flavor. Might try that pancake mix like Bubba suggested. Thanks!
