Ingredients

  • 5 pounds red potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup butter, sliced
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with butter. Stir in cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper and garlic salt. Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
