We call it egg-in-a-hole, and I have perfected the art!
First, it helps to cook on a low heat and cover with a lid to cook the egg without burning the bread. Also, I sprinkle salt pepper and Season-all on the raw egg side.
Second, after you flip the bread to cook the other side, sprinkle a little cheddar cheese on the cooked side and cover again and allow cheese to melt while the other side cooks.
