This was great! I grew squash for the first time this summer and am shocked at how much is produced. I needed some recipes to use it all. This is simple, fast and delicious. I used about a cup of stuffing instead of breadcrumbs and it worked out perfectly.

I found this to be very tasty. The only thing I did different was cook the squash and onion together and then drained it. It seemed to keep the bread crumbs from gumming up. Will make again.

I thought this recipe was awful. The bread crumbs just ended up a jumbled mess - stuck together within the egg. No one in my family cared for it.

I added minced garlic and fresh basil to the squash while cooking, so the flavor was fine. The only reason I have to say that this recipe wasn't so good is that the consistency was all very bland and... mushy. If I would try it again, I would throw in larger bread crumbs, so that they could be crunchy to add more interest

This was a great dish everyone in my family loved it.. even my husband said it was good and he doesn't really like squash. I made a couple of changes. Instead of boiling I sauteed the squash butter onions and added a pinch of dill weed I used garlic salt Instead of salt. I also use italian season breadcrumbs instead of plain. I will make this again it was quick simple and tasty.

We did not care for this recipe. I added a 1/4 tsp. of garlic powder and the dish still was very bland. We will not make this again.

I love squash and this recipe is great! I was looking for a simple squash casserole and this was perfect. Extra bread crumbs made it more crispy as I like it. Will use again

I had to make do with what was in the pantry, so I substitued cranberry stuffing mix for the breadcrumbs. Sweet, but very yummy.

Fine for dinner if ingredients are doubled. We'd eat it again, but it was nothing spectacular.

me: 3 1/2; husband: 4 stars. We have amazing sunbeam squash from our garden and this was a good way to use it. The bread crumb mix turned out gummy--not cooked long enough? I will try it again because it has potential of being great! Only distastful part was the look and texture of the bread crumb mix. The cheese and squash were wonderful.

This was pretty good. Sick of just plain old cooked squash. The egg made it a little quiche like though; might use egg white only next time. I squeezed some fresh lemon over it and served it with a lime shrimp over rice dish.
