Sugarless Banana Walnut Cake

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup mashed bananas
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. In mixing bowl, beat bananas and butter until creamy. Add eggs and beat well. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon; add to banana mixture alternately with water, beating well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Spoon into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool.
