These have a great flavor...will have again many times. I did use frozen peas ...I just didn't cook them too long. 6 minutes in a 450 degree oven & they were still crisp/tender....thanks CC!

I agree that this WAS very tasty. However, I warn against using frozen snap peas!!! I used them and the dish seemed overcooked (mushy, as my picky hubby put it). I happen to like my veggies well cooked so I liked it alot. Definitely use fresh and you'll really like it. Also I would use double the shallots next time.

These were awesome! So easy and so delicious. I made just as the recipe dictated, except used dried thyme instead of fresh. Be sure to use fresh snap peas...so crispy! This is a great and healthy green veggie to add to your holiday feasts, or for everyday pleasure.

These were great! Didn't have straight thyme, so I used dried Italian Seasoning. Still came out great!

I made these sugar snap peas last night for a dinner party I had along with Curry Chicken. They were delicious and very easy to make. Thanks for a great and easy recipe.

This was delicious, a nice change from stir frying pea pods. I used pea pods that we had frozen from our garden. I didn't have any shallots on hand, so I sprinkled a little onion powder and garlic powder with the rest of the seasonings and olive oil in a bag, then spread out on a cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil. Bake for the time and temperature given and they were wonderful. Thanks for a great new side dish recipe.

This goes excellent with steak. I am not a big fan of peas of any type but wow, these were good. They had a wonderful flavor and the seasonings didn't overpower the sweetness of the peas. My hubby and daughter loved these too. A Keeper! Thanx CC!

Easy and tasty. If you use fresh snap peas, trim off the ends and pull strings like another rater mentioned. I put all the ingredients in a bowl and tossed them before putting them in the oven. I put some some garlic powder in used regular onions since I didn't have any shallots. Delicious.

Ok but I think I prefer them steamed or sauted. Good recipe to try for variety but I don't think I'll make them again like this.
