Original Recipe Yield 1 pie
 

Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch) pie shell
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 lemons, juiced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl cream together butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Mix in eggs, then add lemon juice and flour. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Pour mixture into pie shell.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until filling is set and browned.
