Very easy to put together...I didn't have buttermilk so I used 1 cup milk with 1 TBS. of lemon juice (and allowed it to sit for a while). I also added about 2 TSP. of brown sugar to the topping - good topping!

I cut the cloves down to 3/4 tsp, but otherwise prepared them as directed. They were fast and easy, and taste wonderful! I wouldn't change a thing.

This was good basic muffin recipe. I almost cut down on the cloves a bit, but I'm glad I didn't. It wasn't overpowering like I thought it would be. These are great with apple butter.

Yummy! I love cloves- so this looked good to me. The crumb topping doesn't really brown, but not to worry! They ARE done in 20 minutes & are SO good. My little girl ate 2 & my husband ate 4!!! This is one of those perfect recipes with perfect directions. Thanks for submitting!
