These cookies were awesome. We made no changes to the recipe. I tend to not keep a fully stocked pantry so it was great that it used ingredients that I actually had on hand and they were easy to make with the help of a couple of toddlers. They were delicious, light golden and soft. Will definetly make these again.

These are the best sugar cookies on the planet. I followed the recipe exactly. 10 minutes was the perfect bake time for a chewy cookie, but I use a fairly large cookie scoop, so the time might be less if you make smaller cookies. I love this recipe.I think this is the only recipe I've ever followed exactly and gotten perfect results from without changing a thing :) LOVE IT. My husband HATES all sugar cookies and when I made these he complained and said I should have made chocolate chip...until he tasted them, and then told me to make them all the time. They are THAT good. If I could give this recipe 100 stars, I would.

I don't know why but I could never get sugar cookies to come out right. But this recipe broke that curse! Simple and easy yet delicious. Thanks!

Delicious sugar cookie! I used cookie cutters and wont do it that way again. The dough was too soft even after freezing it for a bit. The taste was fantastic!

This "oldie" is definitely a keeper. I teach preschool, and I've been looking for a good tasting, AND easy to work with sugar cookie recipe for years. Thanks to the person who posted this, now I have one! :) The cookies turned out so well! The dough wasn't sticky, so my kids could use it like playdoh. It molded and shaped like a cut-out cookie dough should!! Plus, they tasted great!!
