For the first batch of icing, I followed the recipe exactly. It ended up a little thicker than I wanted, so added more milk until it reached a good consistency. I thought the icing was easy to work with and looked beautiful, but the almond flavor was a little strong. The next time I made it, I used clear vanilla instead of almond. I will probably continue to experiment with the flavoring, but I thought this was an excellent recipe for a first-time sugar cookie baker!
