Made this for coworkers for a party and several asked for the recipe and one coworker even paid me to make her a batch for an event she was hosting! Definitely a keeper!

I made these and passed them out for valentines day. Everyone loved them. They didn't believe that I made them. My husband shelled pecans and I baked them.....

Nothing needs to be changed with this recipe. It's Great. No need for a mixer, zip bag. Just a large bowl and a big spoon for mixing. When you add vanilla instead of water, it becomes another recipe called, "Texas Glazed Pecans". I have added 1/2 TBL of Chipotle powder (for the original recipe) on some of the batches. Awesome results if you like them a bit spicy. It's very important to stir, turn over and spread out the pecans every 15min of the baking time.

These are just fabulous! I've made them with Splenda and they taste great that way. However, my hubby really went over the moon when I made these with walnut halves. Those went quicker than the pecans. Thanks for the recipe!

Very yummy--so much like Nutty Bavarian! Wish I had the contraption they use to mix up the nuts--mine didn't have that gorgeous even coating, but that's not the recipe's fault.
