Super easy. Used egg substitute (since I was out of eggs), vanilla to replace water, and threw in a handful of my favorite holiday spices. (nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, a little of this and that...) I would highly recommend a silicone cooking pad for this - after all of the sugar cools you can roll the pad and save the sugar mixture for ice cream toppings! Delicious.
