My entire family loved this dish, even my picky teenage boys. I wasn't sure from the recipe which size zucchini to use, but all I could find at the supermarket were small, 1 inch diameter, about 6-7 inch long zucchini, so I split them in half and put them in my 11 x 9 pyrex. I ended up using 6 of them. I had difficulty cutting out the center because they weren't very seedy. It baked perfectly according to the directions, but it did have a lot of water at the bottom of the pan. It didn't make it undesireable to eat, just to look at. Would love a suggestion on how to avoid the wateryness I experienced. I used bulk Jimmy Dean sausage and it was great. Didn't have to add or subtract any other ingredients for a great meal. My family said it is a keeper and I agree!
