This is an excellent Turkey Roll. I am a vegetarian and added meatless smoked turkey. I ground up the mock turkey in my food processor and added 2 extra eggs. I left the bacon and cheese off the top and surrounded it with parboiled carrots then cooked it under tin foil for 3/4 of the recommended time. My whole family loved it and I will serve it for Thanksgiving "Turkey".

This was so good! I only gave it 4 stars because I changed the recipe. I made the turkey part according to the recipe, but I used stove top stuffing with craisins on the inside. It was delicious and so easy!

I made this turkey roll recipe and followed the directions exactly. I found the onion to be far too strong of a flavor. I would leave it out next time I make it. The consistency was a little odd, but it wasn't bad. I would alter the recipe if I was to make it again. Probably, less onion, less stuffing and some other ingredients would improve the recipe.

I made this exactly per the recipe and served it with gravy, mashed potatoes and cranberry. All I can say is that it's not the worst I've ever made and if you're looking for something different with not much taste then this is for you. My own personal opinion would be to skip this one.

Wow, what a great recpie idea Patricia! It's like thanksgiving dinner without the bird. I too used plain whole wheat bread crumbs and seasoned them myself. I made my own stuffing, including dried cranberries. Then made a gravy to pour on the spiral slices. Serve with mash potatoes and you have turkey dinner with minimal work!

Very Good. I used bread instead of croutons, and added Mrs. Dash to simulate seasoning. Also, I skipped the eggs. Still came out great!
