This is by far the best Italian Dish I have ever made. The recipe is very easy to make and every bite of this deliciousness is wonderful. I put one batch in vodka sauce and the other in regular marinara, both were excellent. The parsley and oregano made this dish amazing.

These were good (especially the filling), but I'm thinking I may substitute homemade sauce for the store-bought kind next time. My family also prefers ground beef in spaghetti sauce, but hardly missed it in this recipe. This was very filling and simple to make. I have the Pampered Chef stainless steel scoops, and the medium-sized one was perfect for stuffing the shells. Absolutely no mess!

Great recipe! I followed the advice of others and used small curd cottage cheese and I did add a cup of spinach (thawed, rinsed and drained) and it was fabulous. My family loved it and my husband said it was the best pasta dish I have ever made! I make a lot of pasta too. It is pretty time consuming but definitely well worth it.

This is a great meatless option. I followed the recipe exactly and it was very flavorful. I did read one review that suggested not precooking the shells and I would advise that you DO precook them. Otherwise the shells break too easily while you are trying to stuff them.

I used ricatta cheese instead of cottage cheese. It turned out great. Good recipe for someone that never cooks.

This has GOT to be my favorite dish to make and eat. I look forward to this all the time. I substitute my own home made sauce and it freezes really well. This can also be made low fat with low fat cheeses...still delicious and hard to tell its low fat!

This dish was good. I thought it needed more of a zing, it was sort of bland. Next time I will use ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese. I didn't like that it was runny/watery. And definately more mozzarella cheese. I will add it to the top along with the parmessan. Overall, it was easy to make (I made it the night before) My husband and best friend loved it, so I will be making this dish again. Thanks!

I have made these several times - it is also my go-to recipe for entertaining. They are amazing! This is my one recipe my boyfriend will beg me to make. They are better than any stuffed shells I've ever had. I hate cottage cheese by itself, but it is amazing in this recipe - it gives you a lighter cheese texture - never that dried out chewy ricotta texture I've had in some stuffed shells. I usually add some spicy ground sausage meat because my boyfriend needs his meat. Sometimes I'll use 1/4 ricotta and 3/4 cottage cheese which is good, but not necessary. I cook the shells for 1/2 the time indicated on the box as they are easier to work with and will finish cooking in the oven. I tried the plastic bag method to stuff them, but I found it's easier to just stuff them by hand and get a little messy.

I followed some of the suggestions for other reviewers and added some of my own and this was fantastic! I used half ricotta and half cottage cheese. i only made half a recipe and it stuffed 15 shells very full. I also used 1t of garlic power, basil, oregano and parsley. I also just put the sauce in the bottom of the pan and used mozzarella and Parmesan on top to make a cheesy crust. We couldn't stop eating it and my son even ate it. I am going to make this again for sure!

We really liked this recipe! I added spinach to the cheese mixture as others suggested (although hubby would have been happier if I had left it out) and made my own sauce. I was really in the mood for an Italian meal, but not spaghetti again. This was a really nice change!! Thanks for the recipe!

This recipe was great. I did make a few changes the second time and really like them. I added only 3 cups of cottage cheese and added 1-2 cups ricotta cheese. I also added a bit of Italian seasoning to punch up the taste. Last, I added 1-2 cups spinach to the cheese mixture (I used frozen, thawed and squeezed.)My husband loves this and can't get enough. Will make again!
