so delicious! I just had trouble getting the peppers to stay standing up while in the oven.. I ended up using foil and made a stand-like thing to hold them up...

Loved the recipe, my husband loves the flavor of the tomato sauce. We have adapted the sauce and use it often

Would've been a bit bland without adding some crushed red pepper and more of the other seasonings called for, but very good overall.

These were very good. I made some slight changes to the recipe. I used fresh garlic and onion and fried them up with the beef. I added a t of chili powder to the mix and a fair amount of salt and pepper. The meat stuffed 2 large peppers that I cut lenthwise because they are more stable in the pan. I did not add the can of sauce over the peppers because it seemed like a waste. I covered with foil and cooked them for 45 minutes then took the foil off and topped with cheese. This will be my go to recipe. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely delicious!! I added cheddar cheese on top and it worked perfectly with the dish. The next time I make this, I will put a little more cheese in the middle and the top of the pepper.

I LOVE this recipe. The Italian seasoning added into the basting sauce is the best!

Very good recipe! I added lots of fresh garlic, onion and fresh herbs. I also used bulgar wheat instead of rice. Very interesting, almost nutty taste! MMMMMMM

It was exactly what I was looking for. So tasty, even my 5 year old liked it! When baked in the house, the kitchen smelled great when it was in the oven.

This is a standard recipe for Stuffed Peppers. But if you want to add some additional flavor, use Hot Italian sausage with the ground beef. You can omit the italian seasoning from the recipe. I also use onions along with fresh garlic instead of the powder stuff. Cook the onios with the beef and sausage.

A good base, but quite bland. I would definately add more spice to it next time. Also, it seemed like they were quite watery, I won't add the water next time.

This turned out super yummy! The only thing I did differently was added taco seasoning to the meat when I browned it, and topped the peppers off with cheese. I took another reviewers advice and cooked it with tin foil over the top, and it made the peppers come out perfect and tender with no crispy edges.

We do not like green peppers. I was looking for something different to do with ground beef so when I found this recipe I thought why not. My husband was not in favor of the meal until I showed him the recipe. When all was eaten ( it was really all gone) he said that this meal was a keeper and to put it in my meal rotation. I did not make many changes and I kept snacking on the unused filling!
