Good recipe for stuffed peppers. I use instant rice straight out of the microwave when making this recipe and it works great. I actually use only two peppers sliced vertically and stuff them with the filling called for in the recipe. We like our peppers piled high. The sauce actually covers more area and stays put a little better when you slice them lengthwise.

AFTER YOU STUFF AND PLACE THE PEPPERS IN THE PAN ADD WATER HALF WAY UP THE PEPPERS. THAT WILL STEAM THE PEPPERS AS THEY COOK IN THE OVEN. I FOUND THIS METHOD WORKS REALLY WELL.

This is a good recipe. Added hot sauce to the meat for an extra kick!

Not bad, I was afraid of them being too dry so I poured in a lot more tomato sauce than required and continued basting with tomato sauce while the peppers were in the oven. For extra flavor, I also baked the peppers with the tops on!

Not bad. Instead of the powdered garlic and onion, I just added the real thing. Forgot the Worcestershire sauce, but that didn't really make that much of a difference. I also used tomato paste because I read the recipe wrong and just added a bit of water to thin it out some. Ground turkey was used instead of beef. I'll make again.

I used Red bell peppers. Recipe is delicious, but I would prefer more than 1 lb of ground beef and less rice.

My husband like these. I found them a little bland. Will add garlic and try to spice it up a bit next time

I found these to be average at best. For me, there needs to be more sauce and less of the Italian seasoning which overpowered the meat. The next time I try these, I will use more sauce and skip the Italian seasoning relying more maybe on onion/garlic salt or powder.

This was my first time making stuffed peppers, and they came out pretty good. I only had four peppers on hand, and since some reviewers said they ran out of filling before all six peppers were stuffed, I thought I'd be okay with the four. I ended up having extra, so I'd recommend sticking with the six peppers as directed.

Really enjoyed this, as do my family. I added a little Cumin and chilli powder to the beef, rather than the italian seasoning.

This recipe is great! I only made one adjustment to the recipe. I added about one half of a chopped white onion to the browned meat and rice mixture instead of the suggested onion powder. Other then that a great easy recipe! Great for St Pattys day Dinner

Tasty. Added shredded provolone on top. Used wild/brown rice blend instead of white rice and ground turkey instead of beef and it tasted comparable. Needed a bit of extra italian seasoning in the sauce that tops the peppers.

I think that the recipe should call for the bell peppers to cook a little before you put the food in it because it seemed too crunchy.

Went down very well with the boyfriend and roommate. Next time we'll be using Italian sausage rather than ground beef, it was too much of a "sloppy joe" dinner. I wanted something that you could light candles to. I added chipotle powder and a TAD of chili powder as well, which was a good choice.
