Made these last night....FANTASTIC! I only used 1 can of condensed tomato soup, and i only used half of that(and added NO water) because I left a little room inside the peppers and poured it in there and put the cheese on top of that. Also, if you have a broiler, I broiled the tops for about 1 minute to make them crispy and cheesy...was delicious!

Good but i would not cover them and put the soup on without watering it down. Also i am going to add some garlic the next time.

Delicious! I was using very small bell peppers from my garden, so I used 14 instead of 6, and the stuffing amount worked out perfectly. I also used chopped roma tomatoes from my garden in place of canned, and I used Campbell's "Harvest Orange" condensed tomato soup. That gave it beautiful color and a great flavor. This took me quite a bit longer than estimated in the recipe- a little over 2 hours until dinner was ready, but that wasn't too surprising given the extra prep of smaller peppers, the fresh tomatoes, and the fact that I'm just not a very fast cook. When I have the time, the result was well worth the effort!

Yum! I've made these a few times. I like to use ground turkey and put some extra chopped tomatoes in the mixture.

I will give this 5 stars because in my opinion it is a PERFECT base-recipe. I've made it exactly as described by the original poster and tried several of the suggestions by those who rated it. I've found I can use this with all main ingredients and experiment with a variety of changes and/or additions...and it never fails to please everyone.

This turned out amazing! We followed the way on how to cook everything except the rice. We pre-cooked the rice because we where afraid that the rice wouldn't cook fully. We didn't add the cheese. But everything else we did the same and it was so tasty!! The Worcestershire sauce is a must! Thanks! Next time my mom is thinking of adding some garlic.

This is a lot of work to make, but definitely worth it! I made it with ground turkey instead of beef and added some extra chopped green pepper to the filling when browning the meat and onion.

This recipe was outstanding. My husband and I both loved it. Absolutely delicious and will certainly make it again and again I made a few alterations like adding tomatoes with chilies and adding 2 cloves of garlic, oregano and paprika. Even without these, this is a very flavorful dish. Yum.

This was good but I didn't have all of the indgredients exactly so I had to improvise with other things I used tomato juice, real tomatos & bananna peppers
