These came out a little bland. Add spices to like to the filling, hard cheeses, oregano, basil and lots of garlic.

I will be keeping this recipe! I made it with Turkey sausage rather than humburger meat and used fresh garlic rather than powder. I zapped the green peppers in the microwave to cut down on baking time. Other than those changes, I followed the recipe. It's really good with ketchup too!

These turned out perfect and my husband and son loved them. I added just a little more instant brown rice (as the recipe did not specify what type to use) to stretch the 1 lb. of ground turkey I used. This is a keeper!

The flavor of the meat mixture was great. I did boil my peppers but I would of liked them to a little softer. I will boil them longer next time perhaps. Otherwise very good.

This had way to much prep work due to pre cooking of ingredrients. 1st attempt I stuck by recipe instructions and the flavor wasn't there. Second attempt I wanted flavor and smell I remember from childhood. I decided not to pre cook the ingredients but add raw stuffing mixture to stuff peppers. My end results on my second attempt at stuffed peppers was homemade comfort food flavor perfection. The green peppers do not have to be boiled prior to baking. The rice, onion and ground beef do not need to be cooked prior to stuffing the pepper.I increased oven temp to 375 and baking time to 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. I used 3 medium green peppers and halved (6 servings), removed stem and seeds.I combined 1 pound raw ground burger (like you do when making meatloaf), 1/3 cup uncooked long grain rice such as basmati rice, 1/3 cup finely chopped raw onion, 1/4 teaspoon both oregano and basil, 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce, dash of salt and pepper, and 1/2 can of a 15 oz can of tomato sauce. I mixed above ingredients and stuffed the half peppers. I put peppers in a 9x13 baking dish then took the remaining 1/2 can of 15oz tomato sauce plus 1 full 15oz can of tomato sauce and combined in a bowl and used one of the cans to dilute the sauce with 1 full can of water then poured diluted sauce over peppers. I covered peppers loosely with foil and basted the peppers every 20 minutes. What a difference in flavor!

I followed the other tips and cut each pepper in half before stuffing. I used wild rice instead of white rice. It was so good my boys asked me to add it to their favorites!

I am only giving this recipe 3 stars as it wasn't really that great. Was it edible?? Yes most definetely but nothing to write home about. My hubby said they were good and would have them again but I don't think I will make these again.

Really liked this recipe! Very flavorful, the only thing I did different was add garlic powder and omitted the cheese. Next time I will double stuffing amount and double the sauce, I like stuffed peppers swimming in sauce. The kids were so-so with it but I think it was because of it being inside a green pepper.

Made these last night with 2 yellow,2 red,2 orange and 2 green peppers. Doubled the recipes for 8 large peppers, worked out fine. Did not use tomatoe soup instead using tomatoe sauce. Everyone loved them. Will be making more and frezzing then for a busy day. Thanks for the recipe :)

Great recipe! We subbed Soy sauce for the Worcestershire sauce (gluten allergy) and it worked out amazingly well! Highly recommend!

This recipe is very good! This was my first time making stuffed peppers, and everyone loved them. My husband kept talking about how good they were. I did make a few changes...I used ground turkey, cooked the rice before mixing with the meat, added extra spices (garlic, garlic salt, pepper, italian seasoning) and extra worcestershire sauce. I used four pretty big green peppers, and cut them in half before filling them. The amount of filling was perfect for the peppers. I will definitely be making this recipe over and over again.

Made with both turkey and ground beef (in two separate peppers) and it was good. I didn't parboil the peppers beforehand and they still turned out pretty tender. My family has always served these in a bowl of tomato soup, and that worked well with this recipe. Reminded me of my Slovak grandma's stuffed peppers!

Excellent! Boyfriend loved these, we prefer a bit sweeter tomato topping, so I added a couple spoonfuls of brown sugar and it came out wonderful.

I gave this 5 stars because my daughter liked it. She is a picky eater. It was very easy to make. I did not have any canned tomatoes so I used a small can of tomato sauce instead. It was perfect...not runny at all. I put the tomato soup on the top without diluting it with water. I put the grated cheese on top instead of mixing it in the hamburger mix. I will be making this again. I plan to use red bell peppers next time only because I like red bell peppers.

Very good recipe. Even my fiance who is sure his stuff peppers are the best in the world said they were better. I added 1 clove of garlic, a tsp of oregano and that was it. Everything else was the same. Thanks!
