I've made this twice now since I have had more peppers coming out of the garden then I know what to do with. The meat filling is so good my husband said I can just make the middle and pour it over more white rice with sauce and he would love it! The only change I made was to add regular tomato sauce over the peppers instead of the tomato soup.

My husband and I enjoyed these. I didn't use all of the soup, and did top with a little extra cheese. I won't make them again because none of my kids would eat them but I thought they were yummy!

I added 1/2 tsp of basil, oregano and italian seasoning. Also about a tbsp of chopped jalapanos. It was very good! Will make it again.

This was a good recipe but I found the stuffing to be not enough. I even used only three peppers, they were very large but still next time I'll double the stuffing. I also used only one can of cream of mushroom soup instead of tomato soup and vegetable juice instead of tomatoes because my husband hates tomatoes. Never the less this turned out really well but I did use other reviewers tips like putting cheese and soup in the bottom of the peppers and slicing the peppers lengthwise, that is why I'm only giving 4 stars.

My family loved these peppers. The best part was that my son who will not eat rice ate these. He didn't even realize the rice was in them. I made these just as written except I added garlic and I also put more cheese on top. Fabulous!! Thank you!

My husband loved these - said they are the best stuffed peppers he has ever had! I substituted a can of diced tomatoes with chipotle peppers for the regular tomatoes....it added some zip, but it was not overwhelming. I didn't have any shredded cheese, but the dish was just as good without it. I definitely will be making this many, many times!

These were delicious! The only change I made was to dice up the tops of the green peppers and saute them with the beef and onions. Great recipe.

These peppers are deliecious. The only thing I changed was to use a can of diced tomatoes instead of the whole tomatoes.

Changed a few things including making it with a half pound of italian sausage and a half pound of hamburger. Really made a taste difference.

I mixed the tomato sauce in with the beef mixture and spooned it all into the peppers all together instead of pouring it on separtely. It turned out great and was pretty easy.

Awesome! Even the kids that swear that don't like stuffed green peppers ate this and loved it! Of course, they still didn't eat the pepper! Also, a tip I learned from my mother is to use drained canned sour kraut and use it to go underneath each pepper so it will not burn on the bottom of your baking dish. Honestly, the kraut with the stuffed green pepper tasted really good! Yummy, I will definately make this again!

I'm used to stuffed peppers that you stuff with raw meat and bake. These were kind of like having chili in a pepper cup.

I did not like this recipe at all...so bland. I even added garlic powder to the meat mixture and followed everything else exactly. Maybe it needs sauce added to the meat mixture? Very very bland....will not be making again.

These are amazing!! I took some advice from other reviewers and stuffed with half of the mixture, added tomato soup, then added the other half. I also topped with cheese 5 minutes before it was done baking. I used italian sausage for the meat, but hamburger would have been just as tasty! I will make this again and again!

I changed it a tad. I used onions AND garlic with my beef. I also used a chunky tomato sauce in place of tomato soup. To make it healthier than ground chuck, I used 96% lean ground beef and brown rice in place of white rice.

Great healthy dish! Following other reviews- I added a bit ore worstershire. I also put a bit of cheese on the bottom of each pepper along with the salt. Put half meat mixture in and some tomato sauce on top then added the rest of the meat with the remaining sauce and topped with the cheese. I also added some tomato paste to the tomato soup since I had a can opened already. I cooked the rice, onions and garlic seperately and added to ground turkey at the end.

Thanks for the recipe! I love bell pepper, but I just do not know how to incorporate it into many dishes. This recipe is so perfect. I followed the basic structure of the recipe with some adjustments based on reviews. I used ground chicken and added some paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, Italian seasoning, and doubled Worcestershire. I didn't have tomato soup, so I used tomato sauce diluted with chicken stock. I also topped the stuffed peppers with Monterey pepper jack cheese. It turned out great but I see how it could have been better cooked in tomato soup. I like how this recipe has infinite potential to cook with bell peppers. Thanks.
