This recipe is very good! This was my first time making stuffed peppers, and everyone loved them. My husband kept talking about how good they were. I did make a few changes...I used ground turkey, cooked the rice before mixing with the meat, added extra spices (garlic, garlic salt, pepper, italian seasoning) and extra worcestershire sauce. I used four pretty big green peppers, and cut them in half before filling them. The amount of filling was perfect for the peppers. I will definitely be making this recipe over and over again.

Made with both turkey and ground beef (in two separate peppers) and it was good. I didn't parboil the peppers beforehand and they still turned out pretty tender. My family has always served these in a bowl of tomato soup, and that worked well with this recipe. Reminded me of my Slovak grandma's stuffed peppers!

Excellent! Boyfriend loved these, we prefer a bit sweeter tomato topping, so I added a couple spoonfuls of brown sugar and it came out wonderful.

We made this recipe exactly as posted. We really enjoyed these stuffed peppers. I liked them much better than a meatloaf type mixture. Thanks for sharing the recipe, it's a keeper!

I gave this 5 stars because my daughter liked it. She is a picky eater. It was very easy to make. I did not have any canned tomatoes so I used a small can of tomato sauce instead. It was perfect...not runny at all. I put the tomato soup on the top without diluting it with water. I put the grated cheese on top instead of mixing it in the hamburger mix. I will be making this again. I plan to use red bell peppers next time only because I like red bell peppers.

Very good recipe. Even my fiance who is sure his stuff peppers are the best in the world said they were better. I added 1 clove of garlic, a tsp of oregano and that was it. Everything else was the same. Thanks!

I've made this several times over the past few years and it's always fantastic! I do use the diced can tomatoes, but other than that don't change a thing. It's also good with red peppers. Thanks for the great recipe!

This is going into my regular rotation. The only changes is made were: I added 2 cloves of minced garlic to the beef mixture, and I subbed 1 can of tomato sauce for the tomato soup.

Needed some changes. I punched up the flavor with a serrano pepper and a clove of garlic. I had some Ragu I used in place of one of the cans of soup. Because of other reviews, I also parboiled the rice too. My family loved it and fought over who was going to take the leftovers to work the next day.

Great recipe! We made just a few changes based on other reviews. With the beef and onions we also added italian seasonings and canned diced tomatoes. The rice we used was just Uncle Ben's spanish style rice that you pop in the microwave so we did that before adding it to the mixture. We topped each pepper with pasta sauce, put a little cheese on top and they came out perfect!!

I added green chilis, oregano, bay leaf and mozzarella cheese. I used 4 peppers and the mix for 6 servings filled them perfect. I also added the tomato soup mixture after filling half way and then topped it off with the soup and more cheese. Very good.

I am cooking this recipe right now, and I think it should be mentioned that instant rice may be needed, as the rice I put in there (gourmet rice) is still hard. And I have already cooked it for over an hour.

I gave this four stars but I used many of the suggestions to make this a better dish. I added 2 tablespoons of italian spices; an 8oz. can of tomatoe sauce; some cinnamon and a tablespoon of sugar; mozzarella cheese on the bottom of peppers, and did not dilute the soup topping. It turned out great with the changes. I also would not cook this covered. My teenage sons really liked this!
