Original Recipe Yield 1 cup
 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped dried apples

Directions

  1. Stir together flour and sugar in a bowl. Cut in cold butter with a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in walnuts and apples.
  2. To use, sprinkle the mixture evenly over an apple pie, and bake according to recipe directions.
