I use this recipe as a launch pad for lots of yummy salads :)
I switch up the fruits to make all sorts of vinaigrettes. I also use fruit vinegars that I get from D'Avolio's, in Buffalo, NY. They give the dressings an extra punch of flavor!
I use less jam and add fresh or frozen berries, mixing it all in the blender. This also keeps it from separating.
For Father's Day, I used raspberry vinegar, mixed berry jam & frozen blackberries with lime juice instead of lemon. It was a hit! Candies pecans are also nice. Have fun with this recipe :)
