I made this back on Mother's Day, and apparently forgot to rate it. I used real mascarpone in it, which I decided was sort of a waste, as I couldn't really taste it. The art of shaving chocolate is lost on me, but if you can manage, it's totally delicious in this recipe and really "makes" it even more than the coffee does IMO. Its main selling point is that it's beautiful, and it really shines in that regard!

I make this regularly for parties and such and without fail, I always get folks begging me for this recipe. A few modifications: 1) I take a giant bar of Toblerone milk chocolate and grate that. I use that instead of the chocolate called for in the recipe. 2) Pudding mix, make the instant vanilla pudding per box instructions, blend in the cream cheese, then add in the cream or heavy milk as needed. Start with one ingredient and play with it until the consistency and tase is just right 3) Lady fingers: If you can't find lady fingers, another great substitute is pound cake cut very thinly and into smaller pieces. Sara Lee pound cake is great for this. 4) Cut up the strawberries or slice them. 5) Layer the cake, strawberries, pudding mix, grated Toblerone. Repeat 6)Douse the whole thing with a mix of strong coffee mixed with either Kaluha or Baileys.

This is an outstanding recipe. I took it to an Easter brunch and it totally "disappeared!" Everyone requested the recipe. I did add 1 tbsp. Kahlua to the coffee before brushing on the ladyfingers.... YUM!

I can't give this full tars because I made a few changes. I uses Angel food cake and not lady fingers. I never poured the coffee over the cake because I did not want it to get soggy. I also added blueberries and put a layer of whipped cream on the top. Pretty much I just took the pudding creamcheese mixture from this recipe. THAT PART WAS GREAT! It was a hit and I will be using it again!

Made this for a church social and everyone loved it. Next time, I will add an extra layer of lady fingers, strawberries, and chocolate and put plain cool whip on top. I also need stronger coffee. But receipe was delicious.

I made this tonight for the first time for church. It was a hit!!! I actually only got to try a small bite before it was gone. I did one thing differant thought because I did not have Lady fingers. I used Angel food cake cubed instead. It was great!

I was disappointed. The milk+instant pudding mixture was too liquified even after letting it stand for half an hour. I tried to put it in the fridge with hopes of salvaging but it did not work. The end result was that the mixture drizzled down to the bottom. It still tasted ok but the presentation was a disaster. The overall taste was just okay too. I will not make this again nor will I recommend it. Thank you anyway for sharing the recipe.

I added Rasberries too...and used Cheesecake flavored Jello. It was really good. I also used 1/2 Kahlua and 1/2 coffee for the ladyfingers, and doubled it, so I could dip each one into the liquid. Next Time, I'll use twice as many strawberries!!

This is one of my favorite recipes. I make it for family functions alot. The only thing I do differently is add graham cracker crumbs after each cream layer. It makes for a nice added texture. When my cousin came to stay with us from Germany for two months I think I made this once a week for her, she loved it.

Sooooo good! I usually adapt recipes slightly, but I made this one basically "as is" and it was fantastic. I did use low fat cream cheese and made my own whipped cream. This is definitely something that looks and tastes a lot more complicated than it is.

This is a fabulous recipe. I made it for a fourth of July picnic and it got rave reviews. The chocolate really adds to the flavor. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I will be making it again.

Delicious! I opted for white chocolate instead, and the dish became even more smooth and creamy, with the perfect touch of sweetness.

I thought this was quite good. I used a bit more coffee than called for, and since I couldn't find lady fingers at the last minute, I used milano cookies and omitted the chocolate. It was light and not too sweet, easy to prepare, and tasty. I liked it a lot, and would make it again.

I made this dessert for my dinner club. I thought it was very yummy, except both my husband and I felt like it really didn't have much of a coffee/tiramisu taste. Tasted more like just a trifle. Maybe next time, I'll add more coffee to increase that flavor.

I really enjoyed this recipe. I thought of trying something new and it turned out great. Instead of using vanilla pudding I used chocolate. You wanna talk about a sweet treat...YUM-O. This would be great to make for your sweetheart for Valentines Day!!
