Whole strawberries are combined with a thick syrup of sugar, water and cornstarch. The mixture is poured into a two-quart baking dish, dotted with butter and topped with a cream-based dough. This luscious cobbler is baked until the strawberries are bubbling away and the top is brown and beautiful.

The strawberries for this yummy cobbler are first cooked with sugar, water, and cornstarch. This thick and fruity filling is poured into a 2-quart baking dish and topped with great dollops of sweet baking powder dough. Just before the cobbler finishes baking, it 's brushed with a brown sugar streusel.

The crust on this pie is made with vegetable oil and milk blended into flour. It rolls out beautifully, and is the perfect pastry to hold this delicious pie 's rhubarb and strawberry filling. This double-crusted sweet pie bakes up golden and flaky, and goes perfectly with a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream.

In a simple crust made of confectioners' sugar, flour and butter is piled a hearty mound of whole strawberries that glistens from a sweet syrup spooned over the top. Then dollop with whipped cream, and that's all there is to this wonderfully simple sweet pie.

Even without the strawberry glaze, this pie would be wonderful. But do you think you can resist how the luscious glaze coats each berry so that each bite is a sweet burst of strawberry? Serve with vanilla ice cream or unsweetened whipped cream.
