A great recipe - dressing is easy to make and great with the spinach, strawberries and almonds. I used only about 1/3 cup of sugar and it was great...may even try a little less next time. It was a hit at the dinner party!

This was amazing! We loved this salad! I added a diced mango as well. I loved the subtle crunch the sesame seeds gave to the salad as well! I made some modifications - I doubled the amount of spinach and used about 1/4 cup of olive oil instead of 1/2 a cup. I omitted the chopped onions and added 2 crushed cloves of garlic to the dressing and made the dressing about 2 hours before I served it and it thicken up nicely. I did not use all of the dressing - otherwise it would have been swimming in dressing.I also added chopped red onions. I will come back to this recipe over and over again!

I have made this several times and always was asked to make it again. I have added blueberries and feta cheese at times, and all ways have been good. It is a lot of dressing if you want to cut it down a bit it would be ok. Great salad for those who don't even like spinach!

The dressing was very thick, I added a little water to thin it out. I used balsamic vinegar, as I did not have regular vinegar on hand. I also cut back on the sugar a little bit. I had guests over for dinner and everyone asked for this recipe!

My grandchildren (teens and early 20's) all loved this recipe. I did cut back on the sugar and it does make much more dressing than you need. Thanks for the great recipe

Unlike most others, I was not impressed with this salad. There seemed to be way too much dressing and not much taste.

Delicious! I made a few changes to the dressing based on other reviews: toasted the sesame seeds first to make them more flavorful; omitted the poppy seeds because I didn't have any on hand; used balsamic instead of white vinegar; reduced the sugar to about a tablespoon. The strawberries are naturally sweet on their own, balsamic vinegar is sweeter than white vinegar, and I also added some pecans that I carmelized in a hot pan with a sprinkle of sugar, so with all that sweetness, I didn't want the dressing to be too sugary-sweet. For the salad, I used baby spinach (I think it tastes better in salads than regular spinach leaves and it also looks prettier), sliced strawberries, blue cheese crumbles, and the pecans. The dark green of the spinach and the bright red of the strawberries makes for such a nice presentation. Brought it to a dinner party & it was a huge hit!

Amazing and new favorite salad! The only change I did was use candied pecans and blue cheese instead of feta. May try it with less sugar next time although the dressing did coat the strawberries (making them sweeter) and made the salad almost taste like a dessert.

Wow...that's all I can say. I was a little concerned with the ingredients, but followed it through to the end. The only thing I didn't add was poppy seeds, and I used white balsamic for the vinegar and it was the best salad I have ever tasted. My husband agrees too!

This recipe is great! So easy and full of flavor. I added some crispy prosciutto to add some crunch and saltiness and it was perfect! I made it for a family gathering and everyone ate every last bit!

My husband never thought he'd like this salad because he doesn't enjoy vinegarette dressings, but he loved it! I tossed in some romaine lettuce and alfalfa sprouts and we were able to munch on it for the rest of the week (I made the dressing on the side of course).

Really good. I took the advice of a number of previous reviewers and cut the sugar in half. I'm glad I did, it's very sweet as is. We also found that the dressing is enough to do almost two salads.

I always try to follow recipes close the first time so I can give a true rating. The only thing I changed was I added walnuts instead of almonds. This is soo yummy. The dressing really pulls this together yummy yum!
