Strawberry Salsa

By: Red Gold®, Inc.
"This deliciously different salsa is versatile, fresh tasting and colorful. People are surprised to see a salsa made with tomatoes and strawberries, but it is excellent served over chicken and pork."

Footnotes

  • Tip:
  • When selecting strawberries, be sure to choose only those that are plump, bright red and shiny. Avoid choosing those that have a white or green tinge to them, as well as those that seem overripe. The overripe ones will not survive being tossed with the other strawberries in the recipe and will be crushed.
