This pie was great! Very simple and easy, but really delicious, a perfect balance of flavors. When I rolled out the dough, the edges were messy, but once I folded them onto the pie, it looked really good. I also used a little less cardamom, and I also didn't brush as much as 2 TBS butter on the crust- I just brushed on a very light layer. I will definitely make this recipe again!

This was my first homemade pie crust attempt and it turned out fabulous. The pie was sweet and tangy and the crust tasted like my grandmother had made it. I followed the previous reviewers advice and cut down the cardamom to 1/3 tsp. Also, this recipe makes about 6 servings, not 10.

Very good crust and easy to make- but I would add a little less Cardimom.
