This is a perfect pie in May because Strawberries are seasonal and just the right ripeness. This pie was so delicious I couldn't just have one slice!

Very good glaze, I used a graham cracker crust for simplicity and that's what my family wanted.

This pie was easy and good..However, You could taste the jello in it.. Which isn't a bad thing but I was looking for a more glazed/ syrupier type of filling (I hope that makes since)... But it hit the spot for my sweet tooth. I served it with sweetened whipped cream (from this site) and a homemade pie crust(also from here)..the only difference I did was use 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 1/2 cups of water for the sauce..I also didn't put all the gelatin mixture in the pie ( I felt like there was to much gelatin and it would make my pie soggy). Instead I just mixed my strawberries in the gelatin mixture until they were coated and scooped them out with a slotted spoon before placing them in my pie crust. The pie was not soggy at all the next day.

I liked this recipe, last time I made it tho i had mixed the strawberries with the gelatin mixture before i dumped it in, I'm going to do it your way instead...and if you have extra of the mixture, u can put it in a small container and then u have some Jello. I use alot more then this recipe (we have a strawberry farm so we make our pies 4-6 at a time to give out) but overall, its amazing and I'm making some for my husband to take to his Potluck!!!

This was okay. I should've known it would be very gelatinish. I like the more traditional glaze.

This strawberry pie is so easy, and it tastes great! Instead of pouring gelatin over all the berries in one application, I alternated gelatin and berries so that there were no gaps in the pie at the bottom.

Excellent recipe! I only substituted to make a sugar-free pie. Substitute Stevia or Splenda or the sugar and Sugar-Free Jell-O. When using the sugar-free ingredients, it works better to add the Jell-O to the water, sweetner and cornstarch mixture before heating instaed of after. I topped it off with Sugar-Free Cool Whip just before serving.

Not my kind of pie. Tasted too much like jello and the fresh strawberry flavour was lost. I did not refrigerate, I simply let it stand.

Per someone elses review I used 1/2 cup sugar and 1 1/4 cups of water and i agree with that person. The pie was more than firm enough and anymore sugar would had made it entirely to sweet! But over all the pie was very good and everyone enjoyed it! Thank you.
