This pie is absolutely wonderful! This is the first strawberry pie I've ever made and it was so simple and so very delicious. I'll definitely be making it again, as soon as I pick more strawberries. :)

I thought this pie was just okay. It really was overly sweet as some of the other reviewers said. And I even reduced the sugar as some suggested.

I used this recipe for my foods presentation and came out completely AWFUL. First off the crust description never said what KIND of crust to buy. Second having it in the fridge for 15 minutes didn't make it "slightly cool". I only have 40 minutes to prepare this dish and in the end I had to dump all my strawberries and jello together, and made a complete mess. Next time make the recipe more specific.

EXCELLENT!! Couple of things: The gelatin mixture seemed to thicken within 30 seconds, so I removed it quickly from the heat. And there was a small window of time (when it sat in the fridge) between letting it cool enough and then it becoming too thick to seep down into the berries. Overall, an incredible taste and a simple recipe!

Great fresh strawberry flavor--ingredients are just right. My strawberries weren't the greatest but this filling made them taste good!

This was absolutely delicious! I made it with some leftover fresh strawberries and some whole frozen ones. It was easy and impressive. I will try it again with whole strawberries.

I have made this pie numerous times and love it. The changes I made are using 1/2 cup sugar and 1 1/2 cups of water. The gelatin still sets wonderfully, but is not so thick. Also, I top this with whip cream or use Valerie's Fruit Dip from this website as a topping.

I was good it, but not our favorite, the jello part of it was too thick.

Very easy to follow and turned out wonderful. Also, made up the glaze and poured over fresh strawberries before bagging them for the freezer. Definitely a keeper.
