Absolutely delicious. I made some changes as other reviewers had suggested and it was perfect.

Delicious and addicting... but very messy/sloppy looking. My crust (store-bought shortbread crust) got soaked. Still, 5 stars for taste!

My family really liked this pie. I used the ingredient's quantities as listed on the recipe and it was perfect. The strawberries were large so I cut them in half. I also used 3/4 of strawberries in the shell and the remainder for the sauce. After the sauce had cooked I put it in a food processor till it was silky smooth. I carefully spooned it over the strawberries in the shell so as not to overdo it, being sure to get it into all the crevices.

Yum! I thought that 3 tbsp. of corn starch overpowered the taste in the saucepan, so I added strawberry gelatin mix (about 2 tbsp.) to even out the flavor. Served it w/lite whipped topping, and it was great!

I LOVE THIS! so simple and good! a little too much cornstarch, more like 2 tblsp works. I made it 3 cups strawberries, 1 cup thinly sliced apple. SO GOOD!!!!!! another thing-it neeed a little bit of lemon juice to add for flavor. instead, i used lime juice because it goes with strawberries VERY WELL!!! i also made one of this version with 3 cups strawberry, 1 cup banana. it was really good too! thank you so much!

Loved the recipe (as i did not have gelatin on hand). I had just gotten back from the farmers market where i got a great deal on strawberries. I have to give it 4 out of 5 because i did change a few things. Instead of 1 cup of sugar, i used 1/2 cup splenda, and 1/4 cup sugar to reduce sweetness. Then i added only 1/2 cup water, with 2-3 tablespoon cream- this gave it a creamier consistency. I also adjusted the strawberry ratio... i used 3/4 (cut in half) and 1/4 mashed. (instead of 1/2 mashed and 1/2 whole) I also used a pre-made pie crust left over from making tarts a couple nights before, and sprinkled very lightly with nutmeg.... so simple and easy. I will be making it again!

I got these huge strawberries and I thought they would be great but they were way to big. My crust could not hold the massive strawberries and crumbled under the pressure. Extremely delicious though. I used a shortbread crust. It was great even though I ended up with strawberry crumble instead of pie!

Outstanding! I have made this twice now; the first time with a traditional pie crust in a pie pan and it was great. Yesterday I made this pie again but used the shortbread crumb crust from the Fresh Strawberry Almond Pie and put it in an 8X8 square pan. Not only was it tons faster and easier to make and cut but the crumb crust was excellent with the strawberries. Also, a bit of powdered sugar in your cream will help it hold its peaks when you whip it.

Very good. A bit thick on sauce. I'd prefer a bit less filing and a few more berries.

I can't believe how easy this was to make and so good with fresh strawberries. I used a graham cracker crust and cut back a little on the sugar I used in the pie filling. Can't wait to make again. I think I will try this recipe as a topping for cheesecake too.

I made this as directed and it was great! I did think it looked a little strange - kind of milky. So I covered the whole thing with whipped cream and it looked great. Most important - it was very easy and yummy! Thanks!

The pie never jelled despite stirring on the stove for 20+ minutes. Ended up using it as a topping on frozen lemonade pie because it was otherwise useless.

Tis pie was simple but great, light and refreshing and ready in a flash! I put just a drop of balsamic vinegar into the sauce, and it gave quite the kick it was needed. I had it ready for guests who didn't come after all, so I froze it. Some days later I got it out in the morn and let it in the fridge alla day: it was perfect, I can't imagine what it would have been just eaten fresh!!

Very easy and simple to make. Tasted delicious! I cut the sugar by 1/4 but I think I will cut by 1/3 next time because it's a bit sweet for me.
