This was really good. I did make a couple of changes. I did not have soy milk, so I used vanilla almond milk instead. Cut back the oatmeal to 1/3 C. Added strawberry yogurt, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1T sugar. Yummy!

Looove this smoothie! I blended the soy milk and oats together first so the oatmeal was ground well, and then I added the strawberries, a scoop of vanilla flavored protein powder, and a little piece of banana. SO good!

Great and filling. I was making it this morning and realized I was out of rolled outs so I threw in a pack of instant "peaches and cream" flavor oatmeal. It added a great thickness and additional flavor!

Easy and yummy! We enjoy these early morning and the kids forget to ask for a snack mid-morning. Gotta love that!

This was pretty good. Seemed like it was missing something, next time I may try adding cinnamon or nutmeg.

eh. i ground up the oatmeal in the blender first and used regular 1% instead of soy. i had really sweet strawberries and the results tasted like ice, even with the added vanilla (didnt add sugar). waste of my gorgeous sweet strawberries. i'd rather eat them plain. will not make again. the color of the smoothie was pretty though

I am not a smoothie fan in general, so I am giving this 3 stars instead of 2 as I would like to. Like others said, I processed the oatmeal first before adding the other ingredients, but I didn't like the oatmeal in it at all. I frequently found myself picking out small bits of oatmeal from my teeth. I also didn't add the banana because it was already way too thick with just the strawberries. After tasting it, I found it to need more sugar, so I added orange juice to thin it and sweeten it. My son liked it okay, but I doubt I will ever make this again without more major adjustments.
