This smoothie is delicous and very healthy!! I made half of the recipe because I was just wanted one serving but I still had some left over!!I did make the mistake to freeze big strawberries without slicing them into smaller pieces so when I was blending they were very hard to break!! This is keeper!!

This was alright. I used strawberries and a small handful of frozen blueberries. It wasn't very sweet, and my little guy, who normally goes crazy for any shake, wasn't interested in this. We will keep searching for breakfast shakes.

This has become my new everyday breakfast! I absolutely love it! I omit the extra sugar - the strawberries are sweet enough. Thanks!

My boyfriend loved this. I thought it was pretty good, too. We'll definately make this again. I ground the oats in a blender as others have. Thanks! That was such a great idea and I have incorporated that to another recipe(oatmeal chocolate chip cookies) as well. They turned out great! Again, thanks for the idea and the smoothie recipe. Awesome!

Very drinkable, which is the best I could ever possibly hope for in something so healthy, My new morning routine. I halved the recipe and still couldn't drink it all, it's so filling. I may use half the oatmeal next time, so it's not so thick and grainy, and add a dose of soy protien isolate to boost the protein so it fends off hunger longer. I see lots of potential by adding different kinds of fruits. It's got me to thinking of all the various drinks I could add oatmeal to to make them more of a "meal replacement", like V-8 juice. A good solid recipe to use as a base for other experiments in smoothie-land.

My kids loved this smoothie! I used a packet of individual flavored oatmeal because I didn't have any regular in the house. Grinding it up first made all the difference in my kids not tasting it. I also froze the bananas and used 1 1/2 for a thicker smoothie. I passed it off as a "milk shake" and it worked! I also used splenda instead of white sugar. I will make this again! Thanks!

Really delicious addition to my breakfast! I loved it and so did my husband(and he usually hates oats). As the other reviewers recommended, I powdered the oats before using them. I also tried substituting the oats partially with wheat germ and it worked out well. Thanks!

I leave out the sugar and it makes a great healthy breakfast drink for those on the go times. Sometimes I add a serving of tofu to the ingredients for added protein.

This is delicious! I grind up the oatmeal in the blender first and sometimes use a combination of frozen strawberries and peaches. I love the thick texture the oats give it, and it's very filling. My boyfriend begs for these.

FABULOUS! I have never tried a smoothy with oatmeal! Who'da thunk! Well this is great. I also tried a variation of using fresh juice in place of the soymilk. Fresh pineapple juice was especially yummy! Also, when you use juice in place, no sugar or vanilla is needed. Thanks for this great idea. I am thinking of trying wheat flakes too!

Pretty tasty. I can definitely see using this as a morning meal. Currently, I am looking for a smoothie to serve with Easter brunch, and it's a little to oatmealy for that, but definitely a keeper for other purposes.

Really yummy smoothie! I loved having the oats in the drink (I did grind mine into a fine powder with a mortar and pestle). It felt really wholesome and was a great way to start my morning.

This smoothy was very invigorating. It gives you energy! You do not need a big serving of this to start your day. It was filling and satisfying. Some people may want more sweetness but it's healthy the way it is.

Sounded different. Thought I'd give it a try. Didn't have strawberries so I used frozen blackberries instead.Texture was alittle gritty so next time I'll try pulverizing the oats first in my coffee grinder. Flavor was REALLY GOOD though even made with the blackberries.Gave it a pretty purple color. Thanks for something new, quick and different.

I used Kashi's Heart to Heart instant packet of oatmeal for this. Didn't need to add any sugar or vanilla. I also did not add a banana. I put frozen blueberries along w/ the frozen strawberries and it was good that way also.

This is the perfect way to start the day. I varied the recipe a little bit, using some of the other reviewers' suggestions: I use vanilla soy milk and cut the vanilla and sugar, and I grind the oats for a smoother texture. I also add 2 tbls of ground flax seed, which adds essential fatty acids and a very nice flavor. I love this recipe. It's very filling and keeps me going throughout the morning. Delicious!

D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!! I use 1% milk instead of soy, & 2 individual packets of Splenda instead of sugar. Sometimes I use a little more oats. Sometimes I grate the oats in the blender before mixing all of the ingredients for a smoother texture; sometimes I don't. But I do drink this everyday!!! THANKS!
