yummy .. these are a perfect breakfast muffin. I also added 1/2 cup more strawberries and used white and brown sugar. Definetly add cinnamon and vanilla gives it more flavour. I mixed up a cinnamon and brown sugar topping and they came out beautifully. thank you for this wonderfully fresh recipe.. mohh i used fresh strawberries also tastes fresher.

These were awesome! I was really surprised because I had never put strawberries in muffins before. They were such a success! I will definitely make these again!

These are in the oven now and look so yummy. I did use 1 1/2 c of whole wheat flour instead of all purpose and thought they were to dry so added about another 1/2 cup of milk to get to a more normal muffin consitancy. I can't wait.

I made mine with fresh strawberries. Added extra strawberries and added 1/2 tsp. vanilla as several had suggested. They were great. I'm not sure why but I got 12 nice sized muffins and the cooking time was exact for me.

very nice and easy to make for an evening snack. just baked these with no great modifications except 1 tspn vanilla and a few drops of strawberry essence. used frozen strawberries which i thawed, squezed to remove excess water and them little with my hands since my kids dont like whole pieces.a very tasty muffin for sure .

These came out okay. I made some changes that all seemed to work so thought I'd mention them here. I added a little vanilla and cinnamon. I left the sugar as is. I got rid of the oil and substituted it with low-fat vanilla yoghurt. I had to add about another 1/4 C of milk but not sure if that was because of the sub or because I used skimmed milk or just because of the recipe, but the dough was elastic and not the normal 'gloopy' muffin batter. I filled all the muffin cases halfway, added a scant teaspoon of strawberry jam, and then covered them up. Very tasty and low in fat (even if not low in sugar ;) )

I've made this twice with the recommendations that other reviewers have given (1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 cup brown sugar) and it's awesome. Not too sweet and my husband loved them.

Very nice. I doubled the recipe and made two loaves instead of muffins. Next time I am going to make sure that the strawberries are nice and sweet prior to using them. Mine were a little sour and the bread ended up tasting like cranberries instead of strawberries. Still good though! If the strawberries are tart next time, I will cut them up and then let them sit in some sugar before using.

very easy, yummy, great way to use up strawberries before they go bad. Did change a little bit, i added 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp of cin. and a 1/4 cup dark brown sugar than sprinkled sugar on top before baking. Additions made batter a little dry so added about a tablespoon of evaporated milk (i was out of milk)the result were the Perfect Breakfast muffin. Also made the strawberry butter mention by Saved by grace. Went together perfect wouldn't make them without!

These muffins came out just perfect. The only thing I didn't use was salt because sodium is like poison to me. They were perfectly moist and got even tastier the day after. Thank you!

I also used 1/4 c. sour cream and 1/4 c. milk instead of the 1/2 c. milk. I just tried one and it is very good!!

I was pleasantly surprised with this recipe. I had some strawberries that were on their last leg, and I thought I would give this recipe a try. I am glad I did! I made them exactly as called for, but I didn't measure the berries, so I'm pretty sure I put extra in there. I sprinkled the tops w/ cinnamon sugar, as was suggested by another reviewer. My family was real happy with these muffins. I'm glad I tried them. I will definately make these again. Thanks for posting:)

My family loved these muffins and they did not last long. I wish it made more. Next time I'll have to double the recipe. I added about a teaspoon of strawberry extract (flavor) and sprinkled a little sugar on the top of each before baking. Delish!

We made this this morning because we had a lot of extra strawberries. We followed the recommendation of a reviewer and added 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 cup brown sugar. We also added 2 cups of fresh chopped strawberries! It was extremely easy to make with little mess. They turned out pretty good, a little sugary and it was a little hard to taste the strawberries with all the other ingredients overwhelming it. This recipe is pretty yummy and fast to make (there's only a few left now!) but nothing to go 'wow' about. Good if you're hungry and you want a quick breakfast!
