Just the right amount of sweetness. I added a tsp of vanilla essence and substituted berry yoghurt for the milk. However that meand I had to add a little more milk to make the batter drop but the flavour and texture of the baked muffins was excellent.

These muffins are perfect for breakfast, They are not super sweet which is exactly what I was looking for when I was searching for a strawberry muffin recipe. I have only used fresh strawberries so far, so I am not sure how well they do with frozen ones. I added a crumb topping but next time I will forgo that and just eat them plain. This is a really awesome recipe and it will be added to my permanent collection.

These turned out GREAT!! I recommend the recipe to anyone who feels like a fluffy yummy muffin! all I changed was used brown sugar rather then white, and added extra strawberries...otherwise there was no need for extra sugar, or less flour (As some other reviewers suggested) they were sweet and so yummy, I ate 3 of them as soon as they came out of the oven, ha ha

These were pretty good, but they definitely needed more flavor. I wanted to make it the original way the first time to see if it would be worth making again with tweaks. I probably would make these again but with adding either vanilla or strawberry extract.

Delicious! I substituted 1/2 banana and 1/8 tsp baking soda for the egg. This recipe could use some vanilla and cinnamon.

While these are easy enough to make, I have tried this recipe twice and came away disappointed both times. The strawberry flavor just doesn't come through as I had hoped. I did add vanilla and cinnamon as suggested.

not sweet enough, and the strawberries almost seemed to melt and turned a weird watery consistency! Will never make again :(

the only changes I made, after reading many reviews, was to add 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp of cinnamon. I did not add the extra brown sugar as suggested by others, as I didn't want to make it 'unhealthier' :). They turned out great! Very moist and flavourful. I did scale the recipe down to 6 muffins, and sprayed with pam instead of using liners. I will make this again, in a large batch, and freeze them.

I used fresh chopped strawberries and fresh blueberries. I also added a few teaspoons of Polaner 100% All Natural Fruit Spread to the final batter. This is a super easy recipe and I like the fact that I did not have to use butter! The taste is good.

I followed everyone's advice and made these changes: 1/3 c extra sugar, 1.5 tsp vanilla plus to grow on, 1/2 tsp almond extract, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and an extra 1/2 c strawberries. There was way too much cinnamon for us--even my husband said it confused him to have cinnamon with strawberries instead of apples.

These muffins turned out great. I made a few changes as the other reviewers suggested. I used half whole wheat flour, and added vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. I also decreased the sugar from 1 cup to 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup white sugar. Very moist and it had a great flavor from the strawberries.

These were decent, just not exactly what I expected. I was imagining light and fluffy and these were very dense. I added some vanilla, and I don't think they needed it - that's all I could taste.
